The year 2022 is a year of profound significance in the history of CHINADA. This year, CHINADA has devoted more efforts to make its work more open, more transparent and more professional, and advocate the idea of “win clean medals”, leading to significant and encouraging progress in the quality, effectiveness, and reliability of China’s anti-doping program.

In 2022, CHINADA conducted a total of 20883 tests, carried out 815 education qualification programs, 606 education outreach programs, and 1782 educational lectures, reported 24 ADRVs, held 6 hearings, received 131 TUE applications and granted 37, analyzed 3054 meat samples and 452 supplement samples. By the end of 2022, there were 3219 anti-doping staff in the whole country, including 400 full-time and 2819 part-time. CHINADA has achieved the goal of “zero occurrence” of doping problems in the Beijing Winter Olympic Games and other major events, completed Code Compliance Questionnaire and successfully accomplished the annual task of 2022. The AAF rate declined from 0.12% in 2021 to 0.11%.

Going forward, CHINADA will continue as it was to strengthen a more athlete-centered anti-doping program in compliance with the World Anti-Doping Code, further enhance partnership and cooperation with WADA, and increase exchanges and communication with ADOs to share experience and learn from each other, jointly promote clean sport and protect the athletes’ fundamental right.
